Jim Killon & Changes For New Hope

Jim is the creator and founder of Changes for New Hope, an NGO designed to help poor children, located in the Andean town of Huaraz. His recently published book, "A Gringo in Peru-A Story of Compassion in Action" shares the adventures, the challenges and the personal victories that followed.
November 6th, Jim will share his story of how he escaped a murder contract on his life in the United States, came to Peru and fulfilled his long time dream of helping children in despair, the discoveries he made about his new life in Peru and how compassion in action can make us all happier, healthier and more beautiful people wherever we are. Copies of the book will be available for S/.30 and proceeds will go to the benefit the children of Changes for New Hope.

Pub Quiz Wednesday 18th September, 2013 at 19:00pm.
We’ll meet straight at the pub (the Old Pub) at 7pm. This will be a great opportunity to meet SAE members and catch up with what's going on with the club. Relax, have a drink and enjoy our challenging trivia questions!
